There may be occasions where you end up with a surplus medication, or out of date medicines.
Sadly we are not able to refund/reuse medication that has left the building for the following reasons:
- Safety: Returned medications may have been stored improperly or tampered with.
- Resale: Returned medications cannot be resold or donated.
- Disposal: Returned medications must be disposed of. It can not be re-sold
We are happy to take the medication back and to dispose of it safely and responsibly for you. It is tempting pop these medicines into the household waste or flush them down the toilet. However studies show that this can potentially be damaging to the environment. We have approved waste disposal methods and can ensure the ethical disposal of medication.
We are unable to take human medicines for disposal.
