We have nurses who are trained to carry out physiotherapy for dogs, and use laser therapy in dogs, cats and horses. We use physiotherapy frequently in animals recovering from surgery, which aids their return to function. Our nurses oversee this post-operative care package.
Laser therapy utilises light energy, directed at the tissues, to aid and speed healing processes. We use a IIIB light laser, which is gentle on the skin and surrounding tissues, whilst, in the right hands, delivering energy to muscle, tendon or wound area and promoting healing.
